Our community give-back initiative
Everyone deserves access to quality dental care
At Warrnambool Dental, we believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care, regardless of their circumstances.
Smile Forward is our community initiative created to give back by providing free dental care to people experiencing disadvantage or financial hardship.
We work with individuals, schools, not-for-profit organisations and community groups to identify people who may benefit from our support.

I need help
If financial hardship, disadvantage or difficult circumstances are making it difficult for you to access dental care, apply directly and our team will review your circumstances.
I represent a school or organisation
Schools, not-for-profit organisations, charities and community groups — get in touch to discuss how Smile Forward may be able to support the people in your community.
Could Smile Forward help you?
If financial hardship, disadvantage or difficult circumstances are making it difficult for you to access dental care, we encourage you to reach out.
Smile Forward may support people experiencing circumstances such as:
- Financial hardship or unemployment
- Homelessness or housing insecurity
- Family or domestic violence, abuse or other significant life circumstances
- Financial or social disadvantage
- Older people or others who may be unable to work or independently afford dental care
- People referred through community or not-for-profit organisations
- Other circumstances where the cost of dental treatment is a significant barrier
You don’t need to know whether you qualify before applying.
Every application is considered individually, and our team will review your circumstances and let you know whether you may be eligible for an upcoming Smile Forward day.
The process
How it works

Reach out
Individuals can apply directly, or organisations can contact us on behalf of their community.

We review
Our team considers each situation individually and determines whether Smile Forward may be appropriate.

We connect
Eligible applicants are contacted about an upcoming Smile Forward day and the next steps.

We provide care
Selected patients receive dental treatment at no cost as part of our commitment to giving back to our community.

Schools, not-for-profit organisations, charities and community groups often know people who may need dental care but are unable to access it.
If you work with a community that could benefit from Smile Forward, please get in touch with us. We’d be happy to discuss the needs of the people you support and explore how we may be able to help.
